Windows 8.1 USB Connection

eMax will not connect to pc (USB device not recognised). I have loaded ADB and mediatek drivers but this has not resolved the issue. Is there something else I should try?

Thanks for the advice.

Tried a different cable, the mediatek driver popped up and the eMax connected. I have now tried the original cable and that works as well. So it could have either been the cable or the driver.

Definitely dirt. It now works on my laptop as well without drivers installed

In the run window type "Regedit" and click on "OK". A "Registry Editor" window will be opened. In the Registry Editor go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR". In the right panel double-click on "Start" and a new window will be opened.
