Hi,

I just bought my Umi super and i tried to update firmware (FOTA) FROM uMI SUPER.V3.01_20160616

When the system tries to upgrade an error occurs

I tried to remove both the microSd and the SIM but the same problem happens

Here is the video showing the problem

Dear user,

Please clear the Cached data in Settings --> Storage & USB --> Internal storage.
If that doesn't help, process a factory data reset, set the system language to English and try again.
If you're still unsuccessful, you can update your phone with SP Flash Tool. You might need some time to get familiar with that application and method but anyway it's a quick and safe process.

Marvin84p It's supposed that when you update on OTA your phone must not be chaging...

Hello,
I'm also having trouble to update my Umi Super to the version UMI SUPER.V3.01_20160525 When I download the file it stops at 96% en get the next pop up error message ''SD ERROR, PLEASE CHECK'' and on the green download bar status I get ''network connection failed''. I've tried to update it at my job and home.
Does anybody knows how to fix this issue?

Same problems here..tried it all and no difference.

Does anyone from support read these forums.  I suspect this is a quick fix but no-one seems to be willing to take the problem onto a resolution.

You need to give permission to your main branch of UMI. I understand your problem. I faced the same problem and solve it by giving permission. I am using UMI for my website https://www.resumeshelpservice.com/resumeedge-com-review/ It helps us to transfering the files in the backend. Your problem is not a hard issue it is a simple problem please fix it by using permission.
