Very funny problem....

First of all, my WIFI-settings are on "Never sleep".

But sometimes (not always!!) when my phone comes out of sleep mode, the WIFI-icon is on and says it's connected, but there is no data.
Every app I start says "no connection" available.

Turning the WIFI off and back on usually solves the problem. Sometimes I just wait and the WIFI restores itself (???).

My WIFI router seems okay, since my laptop, my iPad and my old Samsung phone experience no problems at all.

Anyone any suggestions??

I'm keen to try and find a fix here (and I will keep pestering UMI for you) as I had the exact same issue with my old HTC One M7, which eventually bugged me so much I got rid of it.

I tried everything, but was never able to stop it. It eventually got so bad that it just kept disconnecting from the network every 10 minutes or so. It seemed to be triggered by an HTC ROM update, but then downgrading didn't fix anything.

Anyway... I'll keep trying for you. Let us know if you give the firmware upgrade a go, as suggested by bencebacsi.

As @bencebacsi said 3rd party apps but talking specifically I guess you have some kind of Battery SAVER apps that has full controls to Wireless Connectivity which automatically Switch Offs the Wireless Connections in order to save the Battery

Uncheck Wifi Optimization (Minimize battery usage when wifi is on)  in the Advanced settings. Mine did that after installing V05 ROM, but it's ok now.

No battery saving apps whatsoever, but I do have a lot of other apps.

So i'll first try chickens suggestions and if that doesn't work I will try a factory default reset.

Thanks guys!!

@UMISpain: I thought I have I have the latest ROM for the eMAX installed (Android 4.4.4), but I will do a fresh install this afternoon (just did a backup of my photos )

"Umi eMax Kitkat V05 0715" is the latest right?

Too bad, no luck....

Installed the latest rom, made sure my DLink router had the latest firmware and installed no external apps but Google Chrome. But problem's still there.....
