Videos with 4k playback

Hello,

Prior the UMI Super I had the Samsung Galaxy S5 where I used the camera with 4k video recording.
Now I have the problem that most videos are not displayed with the UMI Super.

Is there a codec available to display all movies with the internal gallery app ?
Would be great. If not, is there another app which can play this movies ?

Hi,

With MX Player you can play 2k/4k videos if you set its SW decoder rather than the default HW decoder, that supports a maximum of 1080p@30fps resolution.

thanks for the information. Would be great if the implemented software would have the codec already available. But indeed, workaround with MX Player will work.
