Downloads on root joy not working.

RootJoy has a bug handling Unicode characters in the path.
I have an accented letter "á" in my user name and RootJoy can't download ROMs in my user folder. I tried running in Administrator privileges and it has made a new user folder under "Users" with replacing the "á" letter with a Chinese letter and downloading the ROMs there.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

Hallo my dear friends. I am new happy owener of UMI emax and I tried download root joy. I blocked my antivir and firewall, but when I tried unzip rar I got diagnostic messages about error to open it? Please can you help me anybody?

Just do download Rootjoy again, keeping your antivir app suspended.

Many thanks for your answer. I did this thing few times but with the same result. I turned off all parts of my eset and still nothing. Doesn´t exist different software to manage update for EMAX?

The setup file is perfect, I just checked it now. The issue is probably caused by the accented characters in your file path. Save (ore move after saving) the installer file to a folder without accented characters in its file path. C:\Downloads for example. That's not my job here, but I highly recommend you to change your Windows user name to a such one containing the English alphabet only.

My friend. Many thanks again but it is the same. But I problem solved. I downloaded winrar to my umi than I unzip in mobilephone and than I moved an exe file to my PC of course I turn off antivir. Thank you:-)

I have done what you wrote and still doesn't work... I ran rootjoy as administrator, new folder with chinese letter appeard but download destination didn't change - still it is in user folder with letter "ł" so I can't start downloading. I also have changed my username to the one without Polish letters but main folder of user still have previous name and I can't change it. What should I do?
