hey bro  i need help     i cant install stock rom  to umi emax    i can only install  custom ones..   my recovery... is rootjoy    is that stock recovery or custom recovery like twrp ?   what should i do ?   i am on colorOS  rom  but not get back to orijinal stock rom    help me please

Hi,
The Rootjoy installer contains root tools that are treated as trojans by some antivirus apps. You have to disable your antivirus before the installation. After that, you must set the Rootjoy folder as a exception in the settings of your antivir app to avoid the blocking of the root resources.

RootJoy has a bug handling Unicode characters in the path.
I have an accented letter "á" in my user name and RootJoy can't download ROMs in my user folder. I tried running in Administrator privileges and it has made a new user folder under "Users" with replacing the "á" letter with a Chinese letter and downloading the ROMs there.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

Hallo my dear friends. I am new happy owener of UMI emax and I tried download root joy. I blocked my antivir and firewall, but when I tried unzip rar I got diagnostic messages about error to open it? Please can you help me anybody?

Just do download Rootjoy again, keeping your antivir app suspended.

Many thanks for your answer. I did this thing few times but with the same result. I turned off all parts of my eset and still nothing. Doesn´t exist different software to manage update for EMAX?

The setup file is perfect, I just checked it now. The issue is probably caused by the accented characters in your file path. Save (ore move after saving) the installer file to a folder without accented characters in its file path. C:\Downloads for example. That's not my job here, but I highly recommend you to change your Windows user name to a such one containing the English alphabet only.
