This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

v3.01_20160607 firmware

for UMI Super

Flash tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

UMI Super receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricekd your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again.

• Camera optimization - Auto focus capture speed is 20% faster. Low light imaging is overall improved up to 35%.
• Fingerprint Scanner is even faster (about 20% enhencement)

Resources:

Flashtool tutorials: UMI Forum or androidxda guide or YouTube guide (you can google a lot of other solutions and guides)

ROM: 20160607_c239v55_kw_u1.rar - Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6755_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_Win_v5.1620.rar (use this one instead of the old version linked in the UMI forum guide)

VCOM driver: MT65x3_USB_VCOM_drivers.zip (still compatible with MT67xx phones)

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMI Super if the standard method doesn't work. It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop.

1. Connect your UMI Super to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

My Last update is UMI SUPER.V3.01_20160606. I can not get v3.01_20160607 with OS update

What do i need to do?

Dear Cashtro,

They are the same version, just the SPFT variant was realeased one day later.

Hi. Don't know if someone already asked it somewhere, but while you link .zip for the ROM version is any chance to have somehow the list of dowloadable system apks from original ROM ?

My one have v3.01_20160525 and i press "Check for Update"

but it said "your system is currently up to date"  how can i get latest OTA ?
