btw smudgey61 , much as I agree with you , they have no shame , so no chance

Yes I know but like most of us here I spent a good time checking all the specs were OK for me. I will now advise all friends not to trust Umi. They can't even provide a stock lollipop update which was advertised as an option.

Also agree , i checked specs too . same with camera.when they quote pixels i expect non-interpolated and I thought update would be ota . but umi are not special - they all do it .  still think there must be some issue with 6752  and lollipop - seems to be a struggle for all manufacturers.

Yeah wish I'd done more research on proc but was under impression that lollipop was waiting for me to install when phone arrived. I guess if you weigh up price to spec ratio emax is better value than many. I bought Nokia C7 for my wife a few years ago because spec sheets at launch all stated AF camera, forums filled with photo quality gripes and what a surprise when the AF spec was replaced by Fixed focus with no comment from Nokia.

Hi, where on the phone can I see, which frequencies does Emax use for 3g. In specs there are 900,1900,2100 frequ., but if you go to Engineer mode there is no 2100 for umts, only 850,900,1900,2000.
Thanks for answer
Robi

As far as i know 2000 = 2100, it's the same band.

@Majkl , the way I got around returning a phone and not be out of pocket was to get a flash sale-tha ...

Ya, good idea to take a look at Geekbuying.
I've just ordred Elephone P8000 as exchange for eMax. In some kind of "action".
So thats it.
Im not gonna use eMax anymore...
Anyway, good luck with your phones guys-

Hi Majkl . just as a matter of interest , did you have to pay to return your emax? P8000 cheaper than emax ?
