Nice, but still has "purple tint" in the middle of every image.
This is what bothers me the most about the camera.

Maybe it can be a natural light effect... I hope to be wrong and fix this bug

Has anyone tried HDR?
Has anyone tested 1080p@60fps?
Has anyone tested 4K?

Both the Umi Technical Specifications and all these so called "in-depth" or "full" tests/reviews are extremely meager. They go on for ten minutes about what the phone looks like, then another ten on how fluid you can swipe between screens but I have yet to find a single review that actually provides any decent information.

It will be nice if anyone who actually has an Iron could shed a light on this.

My Iron should be here in this week. I will not make a review video, but a written one. Also I will try to find out as many information about the hardware as I can without disassembling the phone.
There will be a camera test too with comparison with a Huawei G510, a Xiaomi Redmi 1s and a Panasonic FZ28 camera as a reference.

It seems like my next week will be very busy so the final review will come on the week starting with 7th of September.

Well...What do you know...
I just went by the image sensor capabilities. It hadn't occured to me that it would be limited by the SoC.
It would seem I will have to wait for a model which packs a MT6795 (and not just for the camera specs).

I am still looking forward to your review, rhen.
