I go into recovery and just get the android laying down with no menu. I've tried pressing everything and can't get anything up. Any ideas?

I've been into factory mode which does give a menu (in Chinese) but in there it won't let me press the power button to select anything. The power button works fine when restarting and can turn the screen off when the phone is actually on with a single press so I don't understand why it isn't working. I think both could be related.

What should I do?

Hi,

In some versions the stock recovery has no user interface and it can be controlled by external commands only. Also in some versions in factory mode you can select an item with the home (touch) button.
