\n\nHello, i also had difficulties with installing twrp: on the same pc with windows10 64 bit: no chance... i assume driver problem, tried both (un)signed driver: nothing under win 10.
Booting the same pc to win 7 64 bit no problem only (!) with SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1604, an elder version, others only gave the red line, after that nice error message "flash tool isnt working anymore" someting like that...

Before flash with SPTools is strongly recommended disable security softwares
Those could cause crash or timeout under flash

\n\nHello, sorry to re-up the topic but i have a little problem with the custom recovery file. I tried every step you explained, but SP flash tool still didn't recognize my Umi Super.

Revoked drivers signature, Installed the MT65x3 and MT65xx drivers, turned off the phone and still nothing happened.

Is it possible to force SPFT to download the recovery file?

Edit: And when i plug the phone (turned off) with Usb i have a "unrecognized usb device" message who pops

Hi,
According to your description you might have a some kind of physical USB connection problem. Try to use another USB cable/port or a different computer.

I made everything. i now have root. but how do i update my phone by wireless update? new update has come and i dont wanna delete my everything.when i download and click install, it opens up TWRP recovery and installs it. but it does not update it when i reboot the phone back. ANY HELP PLEASE?

The wireless update sometimes can be processed with TWRP but never on a rooted phone and that's not enough to just unroot it. In this case you can install the latest update with SP Flash Tool.

To keep your data you may uncheck the userdata partition (the last one in the list) in the SPFT app window but I don't recommend to do that if you rooted your phone before.

To anyone who's stuck at DA:100% red, try older version of the SP flash tool, i've had same problem as you.   SP Flash Tool V5 .1520 solved the problem.

Hello, will this disable OTA updates?, if I flash TWRP?, if so, is there anyway to get access to root only, because I wouln't like to flash every single update manually, thanks in advance.
