Hi,

For flashing a UMi Plus, you have to connect your phone to USB without pressing any button. If without button pressing the flashing process cannot start at you, check the driver in your Windows device manager and/or try to flash only the preloader partition first.

Hello,

after flashing TWRP on my UMI plus, I can´t boot into the TWRP recovery! Holding power + volume up until the UMI sign appears, screen goes black, UMI sign appears again and Android is loading. Turning the phone back off and on again holding power + volume up, a Android screen with "no comments" appears! Holding power + volume up, I´m in the stock recovery.
Already tried to flash the preloader before flashing all partitions with Firmware Upgrade option, like suggested in this thread but I get the same result.

Any suggestions how to boot into the TWRP recovery? Thanks

Hi,

Flash only the TWRP recovery again, then first boot into recovery, don't boot into Android after flashing or the stock recovery will be recovered.

Yes booting into recovery right after flashing TWRP recovery, does not work. I tried it many times with the same result.

Maybe there is something wrong with TWRP recovey flash but I get no errors from SPFT.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I had one job...
Well, it's bricked and I don't find a way to make it work again...
Drivers are okay, but SPFT  do not care

Can you anyway flash ROM packages? I mean if you flash a different ROM version on your phone, will you get the new version booted into?

You don't have a working preloader on your phone. First flash the preloader partition only (only that, the first partition in the list is checked), then try to flash the whole ROM package.

I got the phone with V3.01_20161117, TWRP recovery was not working so I upgraded to V3.01_20161209, which I´m  currently using, TWRP recovery still not working. So yes flashing a different ROM did work. I´ll download V.3.01_20161019 and try to downgrade and try if TWRP recovey is working with this build.
UPDATE:
Flashing ROM V3.01_20161019, downloaded from here, does not work (using Firmware update in SPFT, no errors). Everything seems to work on the phone (vibrates, home button, touch screen, sound) but I can see nothing! The screen is black but lighting! So I tried flashing back to V3.01_20161209 and its working fine. Then I tried going back to V3.01_20161019 and have the same issue with the lighting black screen. Then tried V3.01_20161209 again and it works.
Assuming the ROM V3.01_20161019 from here is fine, what could be the problem?
UPDATE 2:
Now I tried Factory Reset, then just flash preloader, then flash everything (SPFT Firmware upgrade) and still the same problem with ligthing black screen, eveything else seems to work fine. (V3.01_20161019)
Next I will try flashing V3.01_20161009
UPDATE 3:
When flashing V3.01_20161009, I have the same probelm as with build V3.01_20161019, everythings seems to work except the screen. Only V3.01_20161209 is working except the TWRP recovery. Any suggestions? Thanks
