After flashing TWRP, first you have to boot into recovery or the stock recovery will be restored automatically.

Do you need 64bit windows to do this or can you use 32bit? Windows 10 in both instances

Hello , I am Brazilian and bought UMI TOUCH to a few days , sorry , I do not know English and am using Google translator to try escreer this. Well,
I made the whole process , to step 7. Everything went well . But when I try to access the recovery mode , open the system to factory recovery . I do not have access to the TWRP , you can not install SuperSU .

A 32-bit WinXP is okay but the 32-bit variants of newer Windows versions might have compatibility issues.

Thanks for that, now have TWRP and root on my phone. Is there any way to flash OTA with TWRP? Just getting ready for new update that's due next week

\n\nHello, i also had difficulties with installing twrp: on the same pc with windows10 64 bit: no chance... i assume driver problem, tried both (un)signed driver: nothing under win 10.
Booting the same pc to win 7 64 bit no problem only (!) with SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1604, an elder version, others only gave the red line, after that nice error message "flash tool isnt working anymore" someting like that...
