TWRP for F1 - no data partition is mounted and no root access.

Can you share screenshot and link to the twrp used?
I saw that twrp is built without system as root support which is probably one of the reason it won't decrypt data
I looked at ghost modified twrp and it does use non system as root stuff

I turned off userdata encryption in the vendor\etc\fstab.mt6771 file and formatted the data partition in TWRP - now there is access to the data partition.

I know this works but is not a good solution since if you decide to update the phone it will always re encrypt your device. And you'll always have to modify the fstab and if you forgot to modify fstab after update you'll have to redo the procedure with wipe afterwards. The best solution would be to actually get decryption to work in twrp.

I ask for help in creating TWRP for UMIDIGI POWER
Please make for this model TWRP
The phone can already unlock the bootloader and make Root right.
It remains only to create a TWRP for UMIDIGI POWER
This forum has Firmaware: https://community.umidigi.com/fo ... 8815&extra=page%3D1UMIDIGI_Power_V1.5_20190720_20190720-1412

At this forum, competent specialists and for other models everything is already done.
I would be very grateful and ready to test your work.

Hi, I installed the new update from my phone (it's rooted) and I realize now that wasn't a great thing to do. But anyways, it's stuck in TWRP and I can't get it to go back to system. I have tried wiping Dalvik Cache, Cache, and Data to format it as new, but still no luck. I have tried to install the newest update .zip file "V1.0_20190726 system software for UMIDIGI F1 Play" with a zip treble error. I saw to delete the compatibility.zip file from the rar so I did. Now I'm running into error 7. I don't want to proceed any further and possibly brick my phone so can someone please help me out?

Thanks.

EDIT: Anyone who ran into this issue, run "dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/bootdevice/by-name/para count=1 bs=32" in the TWRP terminal! It brought it back to life!
