That's a USB connection (instable connection) error. Use directly a USB port on the back panel of your PC and try with another USB cable.

Dear user,

Neither a stock SPFT ROM nor a custom recovery is available for UMI Touch X yet. So, you can't use this method for rooting since the needed resources are missing.
