Hey guys i have flashed the new TWRP (with Touch support) on my Umi Z (V3.01_20170213)
After the flasing process i have booted direct in the recovery and it seems to be installed correctly. (no errors or something else)
I pressed reboot system (without flashing something else) and my smartphone stucks at the Umi Logo.
Reboot is possible and the Bootloader accessable.
Hope for help
As i posted before, same things happened on my umi plus E. Good to know im not the only one although we dont have a solution yet. Hope someone sees this.
@TinoRgb,
I have fixed the issue by flashing the stock image and leaving all boxes checked. My Phone its now factory resettet but its working
I think the problem the the incompatible version number. The TWRP Image is for the January release but i they has released an update few days ago.
Yeah i also fixed it this way. But i would like to have a working twrp... I didnt update my system, so this twrp should be working like the prevoius version...
TWRP recoveries are not created by UMi and they will never be. It's a hacking tool, that's not officially supported. However the current TWRP is compatible with all versions of a specific Android version or even both with 6.0 and 7.0. Don't erase the cache in TWRP if you want to avoid boot loops.
