My Touch cannot update via FOTA don't know why then I try to update using SP Flash Tool but after install VCOM Driver and connect USB to UMI Touch in PC device manager no serial port detected only ADB USB detected. Please help

Dear ispirit,

Here's a possible solution:
1. Connect your UMI Touch to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

My umi touch I can't start updating with the last soft V3.03-20160415 via OTA, don't know why, before  update V3.03-20160415 start without any problems.
Only when I return to the factory settings updating start succesfully. I have another problem, phone surface very often becomes enough warm.

Dear alfg,

Yes, installing this latest update causes some difficulties to many users but if nothing else can help, after processing a factory data reset, it can be installed properly.
The 8-core processor can dissipate quite a lot heat and if you hold your phone by covering its back plate with your hand, a part of the heat can be dissipated through the screen. That's not harmful to your device however, I firmly suggest you to not to use your smartphone under direct sunlight for a long time.

quindi devo lampeggiare il firmware del 23/04 versione 3,03 tramite programma spflashtool cosi risolvo il problema?
@bencebacsi volevo far notare una cosa, alcuni modelli umi, presentano dei bug con l'applicazione messenger, in pratica non si possono effettuare i video, ma si possono solo mandare foto durante una conversazione, come mai questa cosa? mi è successo anche con il modello umi rome x
