This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

v3.03-20160423 firmware

for UMI Touch

Flash tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

UMI Touch receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again.

ROM: n625ab_dj11_lte_fdd_20160423_songlixin_PC.rar - Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6753_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_Win_v5.1552.rar (use this one instead of the old version linked in the UMI forum guide)

VCOM driver: MT65x3_USB_VCOM_drivers.zip (still compatible with MT67xx phones)




Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMI Touch if the standard method doesn't work. It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop.
1. Connect your UMI Touch to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

My Touch cannot update via FOTA don't know why then I try to update using SP Flash Tool but after install VCOM Driver and connect USB to UMI Touch in PC device manager no serial port detected only ADB USB detected. Please help

is it possible to get the latest rom as flashable zip file?
I mean Umi supports the installation of TWRP... So why can't the update or the latest full version delivered as zip file?

Dear salvogelardi,

The built-in file manager cannot handle the OTG driver (but you can manage it in the settings menu, so I suggest you to install a third party file manager from Google Play Store. There are plenty of them available. This issue is not related to the current version.
About OTG mouse handling I couldn't find any issues, not even in this resent version. I suggest you to check your OTG connector and try another one if needed.

About this case, UMI is not different than other smartphone makers: updating the base software is not supported via custom recoveries. However, the FOTA method is a globally used and accepted method while it's the easiest way as well.
I share these flash tool versions for emergancy cases and for developers. This one is also not an official method to update your device.

before the upgrade worked otg, the file folder manager displayed the pendrive correctly, even the mouse, not now, I tried the otg cable with other phones and work. I did reset the umi touch but does not work well otg. how can I do?

The colleagues from Turkdevs provide the newest OTA as TWRP-flashable zip.

Smart guys. You may try to install that recovery update. Anything happens, SP Flash Tool can help you even in the worst case.
