UMIDIGI G2＆C2 Launched on Aliexpress, the most affordable Android 13 4G smartphone?

UMIDIGI mostly targets entry-level and mid-range smartphones, which target a wide audience. In January, UMIDIGI released specifications and pictures for the G2 and C2, but no details on launch dates or prices. Recently, we got definite news, let’s have a look.

The G2 and C2 will be available in a single configuration with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. In addition to being available on Aliexpress from 20th March, the device will cost $79.99. It may be the most affordable Android 13 4G smartphone on the global market.

UMIDIGI G2＆C2 Specification

The UMIDIGI G2＆C2 features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch display that produces an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. For more storage, the device is equipped with a microSD card slot and supports 256GB SD card expansion memory. It houses a 5150mAh battery that supports 10W charging via USB-C.

According to reports, the UMIDIGI G2&C2 has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back. In terms of its dimensions, it will be slim with a profile of 8.75mm and weigh approximately 190 grams. It has a new design of the back, which is one of its major attractions. The UMIDIGI G2＆C2 will come in 2 colors: Dawn Gold and Graphite Black and will sell for 79.99$ from 20th to 26th March on Aliexpress. the purpose of the C2/G2 3GB+32GB phone is to offer an upgraded version of the base C1/G1 phone, which has only 2GB+32GB and Android 11 Lite . While the newer version may not have as much memory as the C1/G1 Max with 6GB+128GB and Android 12, it does provide an improvement over the base model. It is unclear what specific purpose the C2/G2 phone serves beyond this.

The only advantage of this newer version is that it is better than the base C1/G1 with only 2GB+32GB and Android 11 Lite.
