UMIDIGI G2+ & C2+ specs unveiled: Android 13, Fingerprint Sensor, 5150mAh Battery
Last week, UMIDIGI release the specification of G2 & C2, the first entry-level smartphone equipped with the Android 13 (Go edition). There are some customers that think Android 13 is better, and today we learned from leakers that UMIDIGI is releasing the updated version G2+ & C2+.
The UMIDIGI G2+ & C2+ features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch display that produces an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. For more storage, the device is equipped with a microSD card slot and supports 256GB SD card expansion memory. It houses a 5150mAh battery that supports 10W charging via USB-C.
Compared with G2 & C2, the front camera of G2+ & C2+ is upgraded from 5MP to 8MP. There is a 13MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a flash in the rectangular module on the back of the phone. UMIDIGI G2+ & C2+ run on the latest Android 13.
It offers other features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, global bands, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Another important upgrade is that it supports side fingerprint unlocking. G2+ & C2+ are offered in black, gold, and blue.
While it's unclear when the G2 & C2 series will launch, leaks seem to have intensified over the past week, so perhaps they'll be released in January. Looking forward to UMIDIGI expanding this new series to more markets soon.
