New ROM and personal App settings

Dear experienced users of Rootjoy

I changed the ROM of my UMI Emax at the very beginning before I made set up the phone with my google account and so on. Now half a year later I want to change again to another ROM.
When I make a backup of my phone, is it possible to adopt the settings of the old ROM to the new ROM?

For instance, I want google-settings, all my chats in whatsapp and facebook also on the new ROM. In addition I want all pictures and other apps and files again on my Emax in the new ROM.

When I do the update to the new ROM, is it possible to import all these settings after flashing it?

Is it also possible to use an alternative ROM? I want to install the UmiLeMaxV01(Multilanguage Lewa OS ByArcatarc) (http://community.umidigi.com/for ... eid%3D29&page=4).

If I got it right, I have to follow all mentioned steps, but using the ROM above instead of the ROM that was listed in your referred posting.

You can give it a shot but I don't recommend to install a new custom ROM without wiping the data partition.
