Is there any improvement in performance, screen responsiveness and camera with this rom?

Sometimes, on the R2, when i receive a message or a missing phone call, notification led does not work properly, and the screen turns on when the led blinks. I would do a logcat, but I'm not quite sure how it's done.

No problems with anything else I've tried. Keep up your amazing work, @varotone! : )

Hi!

I guess the screen turning on was due to ambient display - I didn't know that I had this option, and it was turned on. My screen turns on every time I receive a call or a message, but with colors, not b&w as ambient display. If I had the ambient display on, and I have a notification, the screen turns on randomly after the led is on - and the led don't flash regularly. If I turn ambient display off, the led still not blink regularly, with a constant frequency - sometimes it stops, them it starts again...

So, I guess ambient display is not working properly, nor led notifications. Never the less, the led notifications are a lot better now. Thanks again for all you work, Varotone! : )

I know already that the LED does not flash regularly sometimes, but the ambient display thing is new to me. Thanks!

I think LED not flashing (after a few seconds from the display turns off) because the android enters to a standby mode and application for LED blinking does not have function to exit power save mode regularly, it would be appropriate to implement it.

What? Can you tell me what apk are you talking about?
I don't believe I am compiling any APKs from the device tree, and the rest is all official CyanogenMod sources...
(I didn't do the bringup for the device tree but I cleaned unneeded things, so I really doubt there's anything wrong with these builds' security)
Edit: actually, if anyone wants to have a look at the sources for the device they can, they're on the first post.
IMPORTANT EDIT: I've run an antivirus scan on my phone and I actually have that app. I will be investigating if it is a false positive or if there is something fishy on the device. I am taking down the links to the first 2 releases.

For info - this type of virus is on other few builds too, for example in Airom1.0. Therefore I think this virus was imported before you use this build to improve.
