Hello:

I hope you can help me. I am desesperated. This is the story:

I purchased two Umi Emax in Germany and I gave them to my parents and took them to Mexico.
Their SIM card from Mexico was working while they were here so everything was in order. In one of the phones I put my german SIM card while the phone was off and I took it out without turning it on.
The problem started when they changed the telphone company and they introduced a new SIM card. From one of the phones I got to my number which was never registered as theirs a message in chinese: 我的手机可能被盗,请保留发送此短信的号码, which according to the translator means "My phone may be stolen , please keep saving this message number". However the first phone works normally but the second phone keeps sending me this message all the time.
Additionally, the phone is asking for the a Private Security Password, this was never asked or configured on the phone before.
I hope someobody knows what´s going on and if somebody can tell me what to do. I don´t understand how my phone number was associated with those phones to send me this messages and I don´t know how to unlock them. Both have their own google accounts and are configured personally. Please help me.

Thank you

Hello Lunatika87, perhaps the SIM card that you bought had a virus, and when changing the device using this SIM card, it was able to bypass the protection of the phone and knocked down the correctness of its operation. I have never bought a SIM card, as I do not trust such companies, instead I use temp phone number australia, since I live in Australia and we have a high telephone fee. To be honest, at first it was not convenient for me to use such a bypass of the system, but then I got used to it. If you don't want the same story to happen to you again, then I advise you to try my method, which I have been testing for two years. Good luck!

1. Go to your system settings on your smartphone.
2. Scroll down to “Password & Biometrics”
3. Under the Password tab, tap on “Set privacy password”
4. Set the private password; it can be a pattern or a PIN of a different number of digits.
5. Set your recovery “security question” which can be used in case you forget the privacy password.
6. Set a “recovery email” that can be used to recover your password in case you forget it.
1. Open the system settings on your Android device.
2. Scroll down to "Password & Biometrics."
3. Under the Password tab, tap on “Privacy password”
4. Enter your privacy password.
5. Under the privacy features tab, tap on “App lock”
6. “Toggle on” the app lock.
7. Toggle on the apps which you want to protect with the privacy password.
1. On your Android device, go to System Settings.
2. Find "Password & Biometrics" by scrolling down.
3. Under the “Biometrics” tab, tap on the “Fingerprint” option.
4. Enter your lock screen password.
5. Click on the “Use fingerprint for” option and toggle on the “App lock” option and enter your privacy password.

Hope You Find This Useful,
Peter
