Hi halaska,

Most of the features of Rootjoy are usable with eMax mini, except the ROM update. I'm afraid, this case won't change.

if you already know that will never come to rootjoy emax mini because you say you are working on ?
it would not be better to directly remove the hopes those who are not able to use other, simpler methods for isntalalre rom on emax mini ?

No, I don't know that. I'm not a member of the UMI team, sou you should use the pronoun "you" when you talk to me about their work. As far as I know, they development team is still working on eMax mini's Rootjoy compatibility. I just see a little chance to be succaessful in that project.
Anyway, that's not a necessity to replace the original ROM of a smartphone by another one. You may use it as is. Most users do that.

Since it seems obvious you have a direct way of communication with UMI, do you mind telling them this proposal?
My proposal is that they ask from TCL, or make themselves if they are able, a download-flashable ROM with TCL M3G partitioning and eMAX Mini QCN configuration. This way users would be able to switch to TCL M3G ROMs without having to bother with diagnostics mode and QCN backups, which is the most difficult step in converting the phones.
As they have the sources I don't think it would be too difficult for TCL, they just need to replace the QCN configuration in a download-flashable ROM for TCL M3g...

Edit: the reason for this proposal is that I don't believe UMI is going to publish any more ROMs or rootjoy support. This way the majority of users could at least benefit from TCL ROMs. I know there is a method already but it is pretty complicated, especially for average users.

I'm not offended, just wanted to make this situation cleared. If you need to update/rapair the ROM of your phone for some reason, the flashtool versions available on this side are easy to use.
