You can install TWRP with this tool.

You can download the ROM files with Rootjoy.

Hi im getting this error " download fail: switch to edl failfirehose fail "    when trying to convert any way to fix this?

A s far as i know rootjoy is not fully compatible with the emax mini yet , you can still use some of the features but not flashing a rom. I wish there was an easier method to do this . Umi should not be advertaising  the emax mini with cm12.1  that was the only reason I went with the emax mini and not the tcl i though there was going to be more support

\n\nHello there, got a problem 2 convert my Mini to TCL... I stuck at the step flash... My Mini is already in download mode.. Connection via COM port 9008 to Qfil established... Then I push the download... After a few seconds i get status, Download fail, switch to EDL failed, failed to switch to emergency download Mode... Any known issues..?
Second thing i got to know is, how to install the LewaRom with QFIL..? Maybe that's another chance to get other Roms on my Mini... Anyone can explain..?

I ask for help because I tried to turn emax mini tcl successfully, but then I was not able to restore files qcn
nor with qfil it with QPST, so I was stuck, then after several attempts the screen went black, thanks to your posts have managed to turn back tcl in emax mini with unbrick 6fa4 kit. but the phone does not see my sim that is not the qcn remained to tcl, how do I have the phone locked and being in Italy does not see the sim, the signal

Hello,
I've spent 4 hours trying to download the QCN file from my eMax Mini phone using QFIL tool, but so far no luck.

I do this:
1. Connect phone with USB cable
2. Put the phone in download mode (simultaneous +,-, power button. Then + button)
3. Device Manager in my Windows shows "Android HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM7)" device driver appearing right after I put the phone in download mode.
4. In QFIL, check "Show NON QDLoader/DIAG Port".
5. Try to download the file using this port. I get this error log from QFIL:

    Start QCN Backup
    COM Port Number: 7
    Checking for phone connection: 7
    Checking for phone connection: 7
    ...(Same message many times)
    Phone is not connected to: 7
    Backup QCN Fail: Backup QCN FailCheck Connection Fail

Alternatively, when I type the port number manually (9008, 9091), then the buttings inside the "QCN Backup Restore" dialog are greyed out, so I cannot download the file also.

I've tried 2 different Windows machines. Do you have any suggestions how to download the QCN file? Thanks!

P.S. On my PC, the Device Manager doesn't show any "Android" device with a yellow warning, like it does in the top message (part <1>.4)
