How recognise your version of device (2020 or 2021)?
If the device you can't run for read Build_Number, then you may send SN or IMEI from giftbox to UMIDIGI for check version of your device.

If the device still boot over again, then
1st Q: Did you write any FW to device before this Boot loop?
Yes? You probably write wrong FW version and you must recognize your device with UMIDIGI directly
No? My device has Boot Loop before write any FW = mean your device probably have HW issue on main PCB -> this you can't rapair by rewrite FW

Hello, I tried all the ways explained here, my BISON has the version UMIDIGI_BISON_1_V1.0_20210406 ​​and I tried flashing the version with android 11 and none of them worked, I tried the OTA mode manually and it gives an error when restarting to install, I installed the mediatek drivers, they recognize correctly, when I flash it to SP it flashes the red bar but doesn't come out of it, and at the end of the error I looked at the error code on the SP flash developer site, and the error says SP Flash Tool is unable to communicate with the device..
I tried other cables, another PC and nothing worked. I would like some URGENT help because my cell phone supports android version 11 and I didn't receive automatic update from it.. I want to know if UMIDIGI is to blame or it's device failure for me to trigger the warranty.

PS: I also tried to install using ADB mode, but the phone remains unauthorized even with activated debugging and OEM unlocking.. there is also a google play update that never updates, it downloads the content, asks to restart but then the phone restarts again and google play comes back without being updated

Try to install with SPFT
with flashing mode:
Firmware Upgrade - This mode will first format all partitions in the list, then flash them. In this mode, all partitions will be flashed, so you will lose your user data and your phone will start with its factory data defaults. This mode is recommended if you want to repair a damaged system or if you perform an Android version upgrade or downgrade. Overall if you plan to erase your user data (or you don't need to keep it), it's always better to choose this mode for a cleaner result.

Because Android 10 user data are not compatible with Android 11.

to install is
1.-Extract the rom
2.-Use SPTF v5.2112 version
3.-(go to 4 step) https://community.umidigi.com/fo ... hread&tid=16931
4.- Select Firmware Update (step 5 https://community.umidigi.com/fo ... hread&tid=16931)
5.-Dont uncheck the userdata partition
6.- Click Download
7.-connect your powered off(!) phone to USB without pressing any button on it.
8.-Wait.
Troubleshooting
If nothing happens in a few seonds, press and hold the power button (for max 10 seconds), then release it as soon as the flashing process (red bar) started. If still nothing happens after 10 seconds of holding the power button, go back to paragraph 1., and check your drivers, USB etc. again.
9.-After a successful flashing you must see the following screen with green check mark in a window.
10. disconnect usb and turn on the phone.

Bison 2020 = Bison 2021
the devices are the same, they dont change in anything but yes in advertising and ROM
Same CPU/GPU/RAM/CAMERA/BATTERY

i have Bison 2020 6GB with Android 11 in 6R_V1.0_20210621 ROM.

just check if the imei are the same as the box shows you.

Currently GCAM doesnt run on Umidigi Bison Android 11.

before updating to this version 6R_V1.0_20210621 ROM

i update mi device with Bison 2020 "UMIDIGI BISON V1.0_20210405 ROM"
but the rom version was update to Bison V1.0_20210406, this version is on Umidigi Bison 2021, so it is to Update Bison 2020 to Bison 2021 6Gb, if your divice dont update to this version, Dont try to Flash in Bison 2021 6R_V1.0_2021062 ROM, because you will have a Boot Loop

"Bison 2020 = Bison 2021" - That's not true, the two versions have different hardware and you always get a boot loop after flashing a BISON 2021 ROM on a BISON 2020, regardless of the flashing method. If you could install the BISON 2021 versions on your phone and they work properly, then you have a BISON 2021, not 2020, just maybe you were not ware of it. Please do not mislead other users with false information.

Hello! I tried to install this firmware coming from the newer version UMIDIGI_BISON.6R_V1.0_20210428_20210813-1146 because I was having problems with battery endurance, but when I downgrade to install this firmware the phone boots but the touchscreen doesn't work, It boots normally as always but I touch the screen and it doenst do anything, could you please help me?
