Hi, I cannot apply this update to my A7 Pro 64GB phone which is currently running version:
UMIDIGI_A7 Pro_V3.0_20201213

I've tried updating the over-the-air download as well as copying the UMIDIGI_A7_PRO_V3.0_20210330_update.zip file to the phone's local storage and installing that way.  In both cases the update is unzipped successfully and the phone restarts in recovery mode.  The installation begins and the progress bar gets about 25-30% before it stalls for maybe 20 seconds before it switches to the green Android guy laying on his back with a red triangle above his torso with the word Error below the image.  A few seconds later the phone restarts again and boots up fine, but I am still running UMIDIGI_A7 Pro_V3.0_20201213.

I have applied at least 3 or 4 over-the-air updates to this phone over the last year without incident.  Any tips on how to proceed would be appreciated.

After updating with OTA update this rom has made my A7 Pro no longer able to connect to any device via bluetooth. This started immediately after the update. What can I do to fix this?

This is an update to my previous post above. After receiving no help support here, I decided to go at it alone as I really need my Bluetooth working to connect to my car when making calls. First thing I tried was the manual OTA update with the V3-0_20210330 ROM, this did not fix anything. I then did the SPF tool with the "Download" only option and the V3-0_20210330 ROM, this also did nothing. I then used the SPF tool with the "Firmware Upgrade" option and the V3-0_20210330 ROM, once again this fixed NOTHING!

After 3 failed attempts I decided to downgrade the ROM to the previous version that was working, which for me was V3-0_20201213. I once again used the SPF tool and did the "Firmware Upgrade" option and to my supersize... THIS WORKED! I can now use Bluetooth again. Now I just need to figure out how to turn off OTA updates until Umidigi resolves this.  

So, Umidigi it appears you have a bug in your current ROM version for the A7 Pro that cripples Bluetooth, at least for me. I see no other reports of this so I wonder what is going on.

Hello, yes you can , just update from EEV to this global -V3.0_20210330- and all works  fine.

Hello, with Firmware Upgrade + erase data user you should not have problems , no sim card our SD card inside when upgrade! firts boot without SIM card or SD
Just upgrade from EEV version to this global V3.0_20210330 with this sets and all works fine

I didn't have a problem with the Bluetooth connection at all (A5 Pro, A7 Pro, A9 Pro). After the update, Reset to factory settings directly in Android will help. I don't know what car you have and the connection options, but in Android 10 there is the Android Auto application. Hard to help or advise if something doesn't work and information is scarce.

After this update I noticed lots of bug:
1) Battery drains faster than usual
2) Phone heats up unnecessarily
3) Most times apps lag, freeze or even exit when opened at first (This one annoys me the most cause it's like rendering the boasted 4GB RAM useless)
4) Sometimes overall functions of the device lag heavily; Have turn-off screen and turn back on or restart in some cases.
5) Front camera quality drastically reduced.
All these make the device feel worthless and I really love this brand.

I regret downloading and installing this update. Please you guys should do something about these bugs. Thank you
