If you take a picture of a distant object, the dots are still crisp/sharp?

I don't know if you can do anything with this.
Seems like dust on the sensor or lens, but more likely on the sensor.
If on the lens, you can clear it after you remove the back of the phone, but if it is the sensor I think you can't do anything but replace the whole camera module.

That's definitely dirt on the sensor. They seem to be glass shards. Even if you disassemble the camera module, that's virtually impossible to perfectly clean the sensor. You should ask your reseller to replace the phone.
