I can confirm getting this small update/patch OTA as well last week here in the USA, downloaded and installed it, successfully and rebooted just fine.
Anyone that's on the EU rom, should consider manually flashing and installing the global ROM as the EU version is no longer supported (not sure if the OTA updates will work) Read and follow the posted official instructions on how to do it, as always for best practices - backup your settings and important data safely first.
There has been numerous updates to the Google Play Store, etc. along with Apps, it is best to keep everything current to maintain and secure the device. None of it, however, fix the main/rear camera hardware problems and issues since it was delivered in the summer of 2019. But, it is what it is. |
