I just received my smartphone Bison, with 8 GB RAM & 128 GB storage. Android 11 pre-installed.
Did you find a solution for the left customizable button ? Only the right one seems to be proposed in settings....
Received my Umidigi BISON today. I like it very much. it does have a few software issues however.
1: I see no option to customize left programmable button.
2: I don't receive push notifications if the app is not in my recents
3: battery seems to have an unintentional drain.
I have tested it too and it's in my opinion the best rugged phone under 200USD. I have tested the Ulefone Armor 7e and the Doogee S58 Pro before and the Umidigi Bison outranks them both
Great phone and it's my fourth Umidigi (for myself and family). However, it will be my last if Umidigi can't release Android Security Updates! Umidigi, please wake up. Stop making so many models and concentrate on supporting your already excellent phones.
I have had my Bison for a while now. It is a repacement for a Umidigi that I broke. I really like this brand. My other Umidigi was an excellent phone, the Bison is a good phone but the Battery SUCKS. I just wish it would work like my last Umidigi.....the battery would last for days. I have not intention of buying any other brand of phone anytime in the future, so thanks Umidigi, You have made me a loyal customer. Your phones are fanstastic and are so reasonably priced. Best deal around in my opinion and I have brought you other customers because I tell everybody!!
I bought it 6 months back, and it worked fine for 6 months. Today, it does not start (boot) most of the time or if it sometimes starts, its stuck at Android boot loop.
I bought it from banggood.com from USA - no idea of how to deal with the warranty.
Is there a waterproof case that fits Umidigi Bison? If there is no perfect fit, I only need USB port and Power button to align. Volume buttons don't need to align since I never change volume with buttons.
I know phone is waterproof, but I am looking for additional protection.
