In Windows I had some difficulty getting the drivers installed correctly. I ended up using the Mediatek USB Driver Auto Installer 5.1632. I found them using a Google search.

When reinstalling the drivers, I had to make sure to uninstall the drivers already installed. I had to check the box to remove the driver files.

When installing the drivers, I had to restart Windows in advanced mode and select the option to disable the driver signature verification.

After all that the drivers installed correctly (no yellow triangle with a exclamation point).

Hope some of this information helps.

I do not know if I understand. I'll talk about my case, maybe it will help. Mine was restarting wh ...

Mine does not get to restart, because he does not care.
Basically it disconnects and connects to the computer, almost as if the power key was pressed all the time, or as if the USB was defective.
Only it is a very precise time, it seems more a bug in the system than in the hardware itself.
Maybe it's a battery or something, but for that the forum administrators would have to help me, which doesn't happen. Unfortunately.

I managed to maintain the USB. Now I can make it recognized as (MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM), but it still has the same "connect and disconnect from windows" defect, as if there was a problem with the USB, but the device is totally new, it doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe there is something wrong with the cable or the connector? I've seen something similar with an old phone/cable. The connection would come and go if I moved the phone or cable. Also, I read somewhere that the Preloader driver would only show in device manager briefly. It did for me. I just had to keep an eye for it when it briefly showed to make sure there was no yellow triangle with exclamation.

Umidigi A7 pro is a shit phone. Sorry but it's the truth. Many people reporting issues with microphone, sound quality, freezing during gaming.. poor battery not the size stated. Terrible camera quality. And so on. I had the A5 pro and it was also sadly shit. So many issues.

Need help. The phone all of a sudden started bootlooping. I was able to use the flash tool to perform a download and a firmware upgrade using the zip file found in the first post. It's still bootlooping. Any ideas?

When will there be a bug fix update? I'm sorry to have spent money on the A7 Pro, this bad experience will keep me away from the brand
