UMIDIGI BISON Launch Date Confirmed with Full Renders Leak, Two Programmable Buttons!

UMIDIGI just announced it’s going to launch BISON globally on August 17, a modern camera phone with a rugged design. We’ve seen the back render of the BISON to date, but there haven’t been any notable design details of the phone. Today, the full render of the UMIDIGI BISON has hit the web, giving us a clear look at this phone.

According to the render, the UMIDIGI BISON will deliver a rugged, yet stylish design for the young people who like sports and outdoors. Last time we confirmed a mini water drop display on the front and 64MP quad rear camera on the back. Now UMIDIGI said both front and back main cameras will come with Sony sensors. But what’s different is we spotted a ‘’64MP’’ word on the back last time, but the new render reveals a 48MP one, so we think there will be two different models for the UMIDIGI BISON series recently.

The new render also unveiled the middle frame of the UMIDIGI BISON. We can see there will be 2 independent buttons, one on each side. UMIDIGI didn’t reveal the specific functions of the buttons but just said they could be customizable. We think it would be very useful if the button can be used as the camera button and push-to-talk (PTT) button when you go outdoors. Also, there will be a side-mounted sensor.

Unsurprisingly, the UMIDIGI BISON will be shockproof, dustproof and waterproof with IP68 rating, being able to survive in up to 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes. And it will run stock Android 10 and come with global bands support. More information is expected via the upcoming leaks and rumours.

Main microphone doesn't work.
Tried everything except disassembling the phone itself. (factory reset from settings, factory reset from wipe menu (PWR+VolUP), flashing latest ROM with SFPT in Firmware upgrade mode) No effect at all - main microphone refuses to work (that one on the back side  - works, but unfortunatelly I can't use it when making calls (Phone, Viber - doesn't matter).
Also tried updating, disabling Google Assist & Android auto apps (all that software stuff written on different forums) - also with no effect.
Connecting headset (both wired or wireless) makes it work, but I don't think it can be called a solution..

Hi, when i deleted Zello the button went dead.
