UMIDIGI new series BISON first leaked, showing a sleek camera phone with the rugged design

Rugged phones usually look like parts that fell off a dump truck, and are becoming more and more boring so far. But now a new phone UMIDIGI BISON is coming with some combination of morden smartphone design, solid camera setup and rugged features that will interest you in uncertain times.

From the leaked render, on the back, we can clearly find a matrix quad camera setup on UMIDIGI BISON that is similar to the company’s new flagship UMIDIGI S5 Pro, but the BISON comes with an even better 64MP main sensor. On the right of the camera setup, there’s three mini dots on the back panel, which should be the new sensor. In the center of the back, the name ‘BISON’ is very obvious and it gets a new unique symbol nearby, indicating that UMIDIGI values its new series a lot. As for rugged features, the lanyard hook on the bottom and cushion in four corners can make you have a safe and convenient sports and outdoors experience.

Up front, the UMIDIGI BISON boasts a modern display design, a mini dot shape bezel-less display, unlike previous rugged phones’ old display with big bezel.

Other features and middle frame design are still unknown. Besides the modern smartphone features, we expect the UMIDIGI BISON would come with shockproof, waterproof, dustproof with IP68, big battery and customizable buttons for outdoors. About the price, it should also be very affordable according to UMIDIGI’s strategy.

Ehh.. has the Power 3 device reached it's lifespan? I am still waiting for a new software update. Currently on V1.2 and is progressing to the side of bad... But here's the Bison! Is this a Power 3 redo?? Because if so.. and you aren't going to push a new update; how do I receive a refund for a device that hasn't been resolved?? Or... Send me the Bison free of charge, and I'll send back my Power 3. Even trade.

The Power 3 will receive its next update soon and it will receive further updates, just less frequently.

doubtful... the BISON is coming out.. ::eye roll::

it would be nice to know WHEN it is coming out. i still have lines going from the top of the screen down to the bottom sometimes out of nowhere like VHS tracking.. and i love the battery, just wish the phone would be more reactive. i believe my next phone will be the P30... pretty good reviews; and no Google stuff ;)

I appreciate the effort that Umidigi has made.

But I would be happier if I updated the Umidigi Power 3 ROM.

The Umidigi S3 pro's camera also has problems with Bokeh mode.

Small details can make the difference between success and failure.

I expect the best from Umidigi.
