EIS ist not working in Stock Cam. You can only switch it on in thrid Party Cam app like Hedge Cam  ...

Try HyperCam-RaizenA-10-OPZ_RN8P.apk for video, "photo" only "photo" dont work because we have raw mode api disabled (i hope bencebacsi will ask for that at dev team for next update)

Hi bencebacsi!
Can the lowest screen brightness level be lower than it is right now? Because if it's really dark, I find the screen somehow bright even at the lowest settings. Does anyone elese agree?

you can take this Gcam : Gcam_6.1.021_V1.6_02b6.5_A10_Wyroczen_v2.apk

Normal Photos without HDR+ are possible, also Videos.

The problem of the stock cam is, that the there the main camera is almost not usable, because someone has increased Noise reduction to high, so all is washed out and half-sharp and blury.

Other Cams are ok, but there is non filtered noise and artifacts, although the noise reduction routine in the API ist switched on.

Hi, I agree on the minimum display light, should be lowered.
I would also like to have video stabilization in the camera app -> I'm using opencamera for videos


BUGS i have found:

• recent apps not working with third party launcher
• navbar background color keeps reverting to white default. Also, default should be on fullblack as we have an amoled
  

ROOT:
root is working fine, just google "Umidigi F2 root XDA" and use the same method.

FOR UMIDIGI:
please consider to support some AOSP project treble, as I bet you will not release a lot of updates for this device.

#1 is a Android10 general problem

For root usual process with fastboot commands unlock,unlock_critical,disable verifiy....

For custom roms, we can use the GSI, we must use the usual procedure as for root so unlock,unlock_critial and flash all vbmeta img with disable verify and check options.
For the optimal GSI i think we can trust Umidigi S3 PRO thread on XDA, so Havoc 3.5 seems to be the best shoot and also AncientOS but with that rom wifi on s3 pro was not working.

Thanks for the apk tip.

For the sensor we can only wait for Umidigi dev or try to flash another cam_vpu img of same sensor, in the past flashing a newer umidigi cam_vpu with same sensor mpx helped

No, #1 is not so general.
On Umidigi F2 the problem occur only when you disable the stock launcher via ADB.

Hello again bencebacsi!
I wanted to point out more bugs I found:
- apps cannot be hidden
- after changing the Phone ringtone song, I found that it doesn't work because every contact has it's own ringtone set (Beat Plucker) wich doesn't update to the recently set ringtone. No option for the contacts to set the ringtone to the system default, right now it's like every contact is having a custom ringtone. How can I set my desired ringtone set in Settings -> Sound -> Phone ringtone to all contacts (with the exception of contacts with custom ringtone set)?
- no option to select multiple contacts.
- I'm experiencing problems with the network signal. Sometimes it drops from 4G to G, then to no signal. Very, very, very frustrating!

Bugs in Stock Cam App :

- Stock Cam App without HDR takes washed out and half-sharp picture due to not correct adjusted noise reduction and Edge-Algorithm
-Bokeh on Main Cam doesnt work.
-front camera totally overexposed - AutoExposure not working
