Dear Users, According to the currently available information, this one was the last update for the EEA version of UMIDIGI A5 Pro. If you want to get further updates, please flash the latest update of the global ROM. You can flash without the userdata partition in order to maintain your user data and the eea and non-eea versions are perfectly compatible.

never format the flash chip of your device or you instantly lose your warranty!

UMIDIGI A5 Pro receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again. Moreover, flashing with SPFT is the only option to repair (replace) damaged system software.

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6765_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI A5 Pro if the standard method doesn't work.

It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop

1. Connect your UMIDIGI A5 Pro to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode. In rare cases a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed ROM. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

my actual is.... A5 PRO and i think it is a very good phone for his price...
but when i read characteristics of the A7 pro i think you could seriously
update the A5 to android 10 !

I made a mistake by installing Rom on my phone umidigi a5 pro
I chose Format All + Download by mistake and did not notice it until the end of the process and now my phone is away from the problem of IMEI it does not accept putting a lock to it and it cramps most of the time and a black screen appears, I cannot do anything until I restart it and the same process is returned
please anyone can help me

"Format ALL" is NEVER made. You deleted everything, including the IMEI.
The good news is that this can be fixed. I haven't done it yet.

Proble solved. I call to my carrier (Orange Poland), operator reset my Wifi Calling settings on his system, and  then my VoWIF run properly.

no vibration in call and i test all aplications and no result
but i tested the vibration in the test mode ( not when the phone is on) and the test is ok and its vibrate
i think its a software problem
