Hi Admin. I have Umidigi F2. Could you tell me how to fix random Wi-fi MAC address issue? It was broken by recent firmwares, as I clearly remember that it worked well before.
The problem is that at some point wi-fi mac address of device auto changes, and I cannot connect to my wi-fi network, as it only allows devices from the MAC list. I tried to switch to use "device mac address" on network connecting screen, but it works only temporarily. Mac changes 100% when you turn on/off wi-fi on device, when you reboot device and just randomly at some point.
Please help with that!

Hi,

You can set (flash) a permanent MAC address with SN Writer. Please visit the page below for the needed resources and a tutorial.

Please see paragraph 3. in the tutorial. On the System Config page make only the Wifi Address option checked to make an automatically generated or manually entered MAC address flashed. After a successful flashing, your phone will permanently keep the given MAC address.

Thank you for your reply.
It says " 4. Load the Modem_1 database file (click on MD1_DB button) located in the stock firmware folder.".


All the last updates were installed to my F2. Current firmware version is below:


There are 2 versions of firmware on this site: "V1.0_20200506.V3.12" and "V1.0_20200506.V3.17". Could you please let me know, which one should I use?
F2 was bought on official store on Aliexpress.

Use the same version that you have installed on your phone. You have the latest global, not the EEA version installed on your phone.

Uncheck TEE Support in the Option menu.

UMIDIGI NOW IT'S TIME TO ACT!

F2 is having such serious software (?) problems that the device is  ...

The Microphone on my F2 keeps stops working without warning at least 5 times. And the microphone permissions show "allowed". Is there a Softwere Update available?  Resetting the permissions does not help either. Using Version F2_v1.0_20200402_20200506-1120

Please fix the microphone problem. A few months ago I was able to recover it by restarting the phone a few times, but I can no longer recover it in any way.
This phone is of no use to me if I cannot use the microphone.
If you do not solve the problem, I will have to buy another phone and I am sure which brand will not be the new one.

Ich habe nun das Problem mit den Mikrofon gelöst.  

Hier die Anleitung dazu:
Was bei mir funktioniert hat, war: Handy ausschalten, dann für ein paar Sekunden gleichzeitig die Leiser- und Power-Tasten drücken, nach dem Loslassen aller Tasten, wenn das UMIDIGI-Logo angezeigt wird, dann "Reboot" auswählen, indem Sie mit den Lautstärketasten navigieren und drücken die Power-Taste, um es zu akzeptieren, wenn Ihr Menü Chinesisch ist, dann ist der Neustart das letzte Element.

Trotzem habe ich das Umidigi F2 verkauft, und mir eine andere Marke zugelegt. Schade ....Aber leider reagiert Umdigi auf die Probleme nicht
