After quite a few back / forth and google I found at least a small solution to bypass the constant WLAN crashes with a fixed MAC address or without .....

First of all, with a fixed MAC address (despite the SN Writer Tool, you can add a fixed MAC address according to UMIDIGI instructions),
I don't have a solution, according to other comments this is a problem from UMIDIGI, as this is probably neglected in China.

I first deleted / reset the data in the settings "WLAN, mobile data, Bluetooth" .....
Smartphone NEW started
Then the fixed "MAC address" is uploaded using the SN Writer Tool ....
Then connect to the router normally (without a fixed MAC address, only with a password)
The WiFi connection was then stable .....

Then at home where I had the problem with the fixed MAC address (the problem still existed despite resetting the data)
I set up a guest access without a fixed MAC address ... That worked ...

I hope that UMIDIGI solves the problem quickly, as well as the other software problems that are smaller for me ... then that would be F2
really in the price range (Ebay about 160 € 9/2020) a good smartphone for normal use ....

Nach etlichen hin/her und gegoogle habe ich zumindest eine kleine Lösung gefunden, um die ständigen WLAN Abrüche mit fester MAC Adresse bzw ohne zuumgehen.....

Eines vorweg, mit fester MAC Adresse (Trotz SN-Writer Tool, dabei kann man nach UMIDIGI Anleitung eine feste MAC Adresse draufspielen),
habe ich keine Lösung, lt anderen Kommentaren ist das ein Problem von UMIDIGI , da dies wohl in China eher Stiefmütterlich behandelt wird.

Ich habe erstmal in den Einstellungen "WLAN, mobile Daten, Bluetooth" die Daten gelöscht/zurückgesetzt .....
Smartphone NEU gestartet
Dann mittels SN-Writer Tool die feste "MAC Adresse" aufgespielt ....
Anschliesend sich normal mit den Router verbunden (ohne feste MAC Adresse , nur mit Passwort)
Die Wlan Verbindung war dann stabil.....



Dann zuhause wo ich das Problem mit der festen mAC ADresse hatte (Problem bestand immer noch trotz zurücksetzen der Daten)
habe ich einen Gastzugang eingericht ohne fester MAC Adresse ... Das funktionierte ...

Ich hoffe das UMIDIGI das Problem schnell löst, sowie die anderen für mich kleineren Software Probleme...., dann wäre das F2
wirklich in der Preisklasse (Ebay ca 160 € 9/2020) ein gutes Smartphone für den normalen Gebrauch ....

I also have the same issue with the mic, tried every step to resolve issue from App access to mic, change to voice serarch, hard reset but still not working raised a ticked and month later no reply

fingerprint suddenly disappeared, it's gone!  I hope that Santa claus will bring it back to me.

F2 is having such serious software (?) problems that the device is  ...

I have the same problem, also on the second f2. mic is only working for a certain time and then it is gone again. Please find solution

Dear Umidigi Team,

You need to be very serious in software development area, as this software upgrade will help to enhance the hardware performance.
there are lot of issues in present software such as mic stops working after every restart, camera app if total failure, network errors, finger print scanner error, speaker issues, these are just a few.

Do check all these sections which will help to improve the hardware of the UMIDIGI F2....

waiting for the successfully tested update for the F2 soon.
