Maybe you have denied the camera any permissions? Read and save permissions?

Ive been reading and this seems to be an issue with android 10 and not an hardware issue.
The question now remains that eventually Google will have a fix for it (even if its with android 11) and if Umidigi is going to provide the fix or if it will in the meantime throw this phone into the obsolete pile.
We the buyers have a broken phone.

Interesting... I needed to make two phone calls today. I use VOIP (textnow) and of course the first time the speaker didnt work.
So rebooted the phone and made the first call and no problem with the sound.

Waiting a few seconds to find the number for the second call and bam no sound again... Had to reboot again for the speaker to work.
Damn this is annoying.
Where can I report bugs to Umidigi?

Ever since the update the GCam Port no longer works properly. Please fix. It made the camera SO MUCH BETTER. Thank you.

Hi  UMIDIGI Guys,

I'm in a very similar position. from this last update, I lost fingerprint sensor and the mic stopped entirely. I've noticed a severe loss of signal between cell service and even bluetooth. To try to fix it, I did a full firmware flash of this version. After the full flash, I still no longer have fingerprint sensor function and signal quality is still low. Several days after the full flash, during regular use, I lost IMEI. I was able to see the IMEI again after a factory reset.

This is a real problem and limits confidence I can have in the product.

Is anyone else having problems with the "notification area" coming down on it's own? Mine will sometimes come down (in the mini mode) and the only way to get rid of it is to tap the back button or home button, but it often drops right down again. Sometimes it pulses down-up, down-up. A reboot usually helps for awhile. It also does it with no apps running while on the home screen, so I can't blame it on an app. I tried taking off the cover in case it was conductive but it didn't help. It seems to have gotten worse since updating to this ROM by OTA when it was released. I can't find any settings relating to it either. Is there anything I can do? at times it is unusable. Thanks for your thoughts.
