These software complaints are largely users' ignorance.

1) I have no problem with Wifi 5GHz, it works perfectly.
2) VOLTE has been activated automatically for me, the menu for activating VoWifi is also displayed in the MENU, it probably depends on whether the SIM card supports it.
3) Launcher works normally, you create a folder by moving one icon over another.
4) The automatic screen wake-up must be set by the user, it is not preset by itself.
5) The Umidigi business model is to have the supplier produce quality hardware and basic software, which the supplier updates up to once or twice. We won't change anything about that. Unless you want the goods to cost more than you paid for them.

I will not discuss my level of ignorance, I have some of it ;)
1) If the reception level is high you will not have any problem with 5GHz band. The problem arises when the phone is several meters away from the AP.
I put side by side my old Galaxy S6 and the S5Pro, the S6 receives 13 dB more signal than S5 in all the 5 GHz band, but this not happen with 2.5 GHz band, where both levels are similar.
2) I have not a way to check it, but you may be right because my SIM is several years old. Anyway, the behaviour is different in the A7Pro and the S5Pro. The options are available in the A7 and not in the S5 using the same SIM.

4) Please, elaborate this because I never set the automatic screen wake-up. As I said, I spend most of the time switching off the screen because the phone wakes up each time I picked it up to put it, in example, in my pocket. I tried to change all related parameters unsuccessfully.
5) I agree that this bussiness model is the way to lower development cost, but does this means this phone will only have one security update?. The last security update is from May and Google publish updates monthly.
To make one security update is to patch the updates given by Google in the sources and recompiling the firmware. It will only cost a few cents by unit and I think that everybody agree to pay some cents for having a phone supported for some time (not just one month).
I do not mean to get the update to Android 11, but some basic support the first year is a must.
Otherwise the present bussiness model is a failed one.

For me, the VoWifi menu was displayed after replacing the SIM. A7Pro and S5Pro are useless to compare, probably everyone has a different manufacturer. Umidigi use Droi (http://www.droi.com) and A-Gold (http://www.agoldcomm.com) as ODM/OEM partners.

MENU > Fingerprint > Off screen display fingerprint

I recently got my S5 Pro.. It's a fairly decent phone.. but I have a few issues.

1) Even though settings search for "Wake" shows a "Smart Assistant" -> "Lift to Wake" option, on the next screen, no such option exists. As per the last post, I *do* have "Off screen display fingerprint" turned off. The phone still wakes up all the time.

2) The minimum brightness is way, way, way too high. It's blinding at night. It needs to be seriously lowered, and I'm sure this is possible.

3) An Always-On display feature would have been nice.

I really don't know what you set there to automatically wake up the display. He doesn't do it by default. I recommend logging out of your Google account, performing a Hard Reset (= factory reset of the device). If the display wakes up automatically even then, it will probably be a manufacturing defect of the device.

Hi to all, I had buy this cell phone few days ago and I'm happy the phono is fantastic but i have only a big problem:

Fingerprint correctly work in standard situation but when i stand up the Cell phone from the desk do not appear on the screen the finger to push for unlock the Cell phone, for appear Is necessary ti anpush the lateral button (to screen on) and After Is possible ti use the fingerprint. In the finger print setting the option Is correctly set

Do you know how can I  solve this problem?

Hi! I have s5 pro and F2, I cant acesse top bar on s5 pro on lock screen, no show notification on lock screen too, this is good for flashlight.
Everytime I need unlock the screen.

Me he comprado un Umidigi S5 Pro y tengo un problema.
Tengo un accesorio gimbal de fotografía y no puedo sincronizarlo por bluetooth con el teléfono, no aparece en dispositivos disponibles.
El problema no es del gimbal puesto que funciona en un Mi9 y en un Vivo.
