I was able to resolve the lock screen issue that won't light up when a notification arrives. Use the "Notifi Pro" app. I continue with the problem of the audio in Whatsapp that hangs up the screen from sunset. I can't find a solution to this.
Umidigi please, FIX IT

not sure if this relates to the issues at hand - but when i went back to 1.2 the audio sounded like crap again, messed with the media volume from the sound settings and went away... it did appear again twice after with rebooting, but since there hasn't been an issue. just FYI

If you download poco launcer and set it as your defult launcher, the sound issue will go away. I have not tested any other launchers. If you do this, sadly you can not enable the android 10 gestures as there is no support for 3rd party launchers in 5th december security patch (current on umidigi power 3).

I just want to confirm, if I have 1.3 installed and I want to downgrade to 1.2, I cannot download the zip and do a local OTA because that will only work if I am already on version 1.1 right? I am not comfortable with using a flash tool and downgrading with commands and such. So I am just checking if I am going to have to wait for the next release in this case?

I was told by someone in support that the next update was not coming until the end of this month (May).

please just be patient everyone!

just a reminder: this company is NOT as big as the more larger names out there that have loads of support and engineers 24/7.. just revert back to 1.2 - and if you don't want to then hey that's cool too! but, it's just software - it will be fixed. i sure don't see anyone taking the ROM and trying to debug it themselves; and if you have, please provide some insight on findings. the only comment useful right now is from ben_benboy about the launcher. even i didn't think about this one.. but, that's why we have this community page. what others may have found to be a workaround - some may have found it to make things worse, or even better than thought possible! the gauge can go both positive and negative on software, some experience different outcomes than others.

EDIT: i'm losing my faith with this company as well as many others.. phones are released without full resolution to issues seen in all devices across the board; and i too am having more issues with my Power 3 device. yet, here comes another phone!! the Bison!... why fix the issues when another phone comes out before all issues are corrected! or.. ya know. just support the deivces owners are having issues with. i did mention above the company isn't as big as others. but don't have as many deivces as others as well. this leads me to believe defeat is a big factor in this; and why there hasn't been any updates in months. i just got the 1.7 update for my A5 Pro - a few lines below the Power 3 as i thought. or am i wrong? nvm. the BISON is coming out..

Umidigi can you update and fix the ROM faster please the issues are getting annoying

You should work on optimizing your camera app too. Having lots of lens is useless if the camera app is bad.

...and clearly that isn't the case...sigh. Would be great if Umidigi could provide its customers and update around this.

- what are the fixes?
- will the security be updated to (at least) May?
- when is the expected time for the update to be released?

bencebacsi, когда же появится нормальное обновление вместо бракованного, которое отозвали. К сожалению, я на это бракованные обновление обновился, и звук стал, как из кадушки. Уже не прилично для такой солидной компании как Umidigi тянуть с новым обновлением.
