I can see that I disabled google play protect on google play app and my phone run better I did not have any freezing or camera issue since I disabled this google option on my Umidigi X ... may be this trick can help other

Photo camera: 1) In wide-angle mode the application crashes, the photo does not appear and I need to restart the device. I've done a hard reset and the problem persists! 2) on WhatsApp is not focusing. I need to restart the device to work. And shortly after, the bug returns.

The security patch is still August 2019! My Samsung Galaxy Tab already has the January 2020 Path ...

Awaiting improvements ...

I do NOT have this issues you described .. your phone seem to be defective send it back to Umi is the best thing to do I think

What do you mean? I am curious about your statement regarding castrated Android 10.

As I said you can not change the icons and android 10 icons are horrible, you can not hide the navigation bar which is perfectly a shame .. for me its castrated one because it was supposed better and this is not the case

I unlocked the Umidigi X bootloader through fastboot, modified boot.img from this ROM through Magisk (on another device), flashed the ROM with the modified boot.img using SP Flash Tools, and installed Magisk Manager. Then I installed the L Speed module. Using its "Balanced" profile, I have yet to experience any freezes compared to before.

Disclaimer: I make no guarantees whatsoever that it will also work on your Umidigi X. I will not be responsible for anything that may happen because this is not for the faint of heart.

@Umidigi Team : At the end, F2 with Android 10 is good. We can choose our icons with "developpers options" and the option "gesture" give us the possibility to go without navigation Bar.
Very good job !
Do it for the X model please !

Hello! After only one month of decent use, my phone doesn't detect the SIM card anymore. When I purchased it from Official Store, I generate a free e-mail account to register - e-mail that I forgot completely (so now I don't have the order number anymore: lame - I know). Anyways, even tho the phone is new, I find complicated to send it eventually back in China for the warranty, because I live in Montreal (Canada). So - hopping that it's a software issue, I would like to fix it it myself. I repeat - phone says NO SIM CARD (started just like that, suddenly, since yesterday). I tried all the simple solutions, from replacing the card to the factory reset. Nothing. So, in your opinion, should I try this last Flash/ROM reinstall provided here? Do you think that this will fix the NO SIM CARD issue? Is this a common issue (this is my 4th phone purchased directly from China - absolutely no issues with the others). Thank you a lot for your support!
