so my question is on the lines of mikele's question... why is it that i have to spend more money on the same phone, i.e. purchasing again, to get the latest Android OS? and when 10 is released, lets say for this phone the X, for capable devices (meaning hardware compliant) lets throw in the A5 Pro cause that's what i've got - when available for the devices already flashed with 10, why can't we just do a firmware update from the SP Flasher? the software is for the phone... the phone supports the software.. ??
and a little more on the SP Flasher question - i have seen the posts where someone formats the phone and needs the Google Authentication key; is this the reason? if so, i think you just got yourself a new way to make some money, honey. instead of forcing someone to get a new device, why not offer the option to flash the latest OS builds for those that would like to - at the cost ($15.00 USD i believe it was) to obtain a new G.A. key? i'd be absolutely on board for that!
P.S. Ben - do not delete my posts again before making a section of the forum for general topics and non-rom / flashing / updating. that was in the very least to say rude. i do not believe anyone is in any power to smite off a post / comment regarding the phones you ask us to provide bug reports for; that's getting pretty close to the edge, guy. |
