I purchased a UMIDIGI A5 PRO on Dec.03 2019 through the official Aliexpress store, I received on 31.dec.19
after five days of use, I have a trouble to turning it on.
I tried to let it charge for about 3 hours and still no sign of life.(but warms up in the upper back area and i think that usb charging port is working)
When I connect it to any computer, windows downloads mediatek drivers (mediatek usb & PreLoader) but still has no sign of device life.

I trying to contact with the store, but no response,
I'm sure that Umdigi service stuff knows about this problem for their phones, but won't confess
It is the worst spent 100 usd

Appalling aren't they?
Particularly as they tout themselves as the 'official umidigi store'

The official support, although friendly, are also a joke. The only solutions you will be offered will cost more than the phone's value. Curious logic indeed.

It wouldn't take much effort to support their customers and who knows, they may increase their sales....

What a joke of service. I would never recommend Umidiigi to anyone. Nobody takes responsibly.

We bought an A5 Pro less than a month ago. This phone is a joke. Once you dial a number there is no control over the phone! I've not been able to set up voice mail. I'm not giving another nickel to this sham of a company.

I can't connect to my JBL GO or my Galaxy Buds throught bluetooth connection, they doesnt even appear on bluetooth devices list, why?

im having this problem too. phone cant turn on since today. I suspect the a5 pro has a pre existing condition. some issue with the battery or motherboard. sigh. my us$100 has been donated to umidigi. this is really frustrating. my 1st umidigi product and definitely the last

Hi, I have the same problem with my umidigi a5 pro and I've been trying to contact the warranty/support area but the page does not work. I reached them trough instagram but they haven't responded yet nor even read my message.
My phone had about 40% when the screen stopped working, I don't know if it's de screen or battery. When I plug it to the charger it get's hot like it is charging but it won't turn on. It hasn't been a year since I bought it and already broke. I wish they'd reach out to us, I don't have money to buy another phone :/
