Olá umidigi. Tenho o meu primeiro smartphone da vossa marca o A5 pro e não estou descontente. Acontece que desejo comprar outro da vossa marca, pensei no F2 e depois resolvi esperar pelo Power 3, mas já desisti. Então  vocês não colocam a possibilidade de vídeos 4k nem fotos RAW

Ainda não se aperceberam que a Xiaomi tem lançado smartphone com o RAW e 4k a preços idênticos aos vossos?

Ó Mariam eu tenho câmera e boa. E mais o meu umidigi A5 pro com uma APP que tenho até tira fotos a 48 milhões de píxeis. Pois as câmaras são apenas software.

Oi xicofaro, vou tentar responder às suas experiências.

1. Forneci um link para o Mediatek Helio P23. Tente ver o que ele suporta. Você também pode ter um software com 100 MP, ele ainda permanece no máximo 24 MP, como capacidade de processamento.
2. Cada foto digital é criada no formato RAW. Em seguida, o fabricante da câmera ou do celular processa o RAW em um formato fácil de usar. Por exemplo 24MP RAW - 36MB = 12MB JPEG (alta qualidade). Você tem que editar o formato RAW, é basicamente inutilizável para visualização.

1. I have provided a link to Mediatek Helio P23. Try to see what it supports. You can also have software with 100 MP, it will still remain at max 24 MP, such as processor processing capability.
2. Each digital photo is created in RAW format. Then, the camera or mobile manufacturer processes the RAW into a user-friendly format. E.g. 24MP RAW - 36MB = 12MB JPEG (high quality). You have to edit the RAW format, it is basically unusable for viewing.

Dear all,

If someone is interested in trying it (under his/her own responsibility), I verified that Android 10 can be installed in A5 Pro with really good results by using following resources:

Vendor (unofficial): https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261606273
Android GSI: https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/releases

However, I finally decided to roll it back to stock due to some app issues and/or warning because of unlocked bootloader (Netflix, internet banking, etc.). Also lost additional cameras in the process (main ones worked fine, though).

Found interesting that some minor bugs I experienced with official ROM were solved after installing Android Q ROM, such as:
- No detail of apps batery usage (shows: battery usage data not available).
- Spotify crashing when trying to open menu for a song (minor but annoying one).- Updated security patch (official is from 2019-06-05).

Anyone from UMIDIGI, could we expect some official ROM with Android Q for UMIDIGI A5 in the near future? Results using non-official resources above looks really promising (100% functional from my perspective), and indicates that most probably small effort would be needed.
