please do the following - i've noticed this works with buggy updates if you've had the original firmware from shipping and perform the wireless updates...

get the update .zip, not the flash file for SPFLASH, but the .zip you can get to perform the wireless update manually. do both update procedures, meaning: do the wireless update first and select 'Local Updates' and select the .zip for the V1.5 ROM - it will reboot and do the update as  normal. once that finishes, power down the device, and boot into the recovery, then perform the update from recovery again. yes, this is basically the 'same' in terms of updating, but doing this update both from wireless update and through recovery seems to smooth out the update if anything was buggy - like mine. i did the update twice, through the OS and through recovery and no issues. give that a shot - PM me if you need help

you will need to use the SP Flash tool to get the device back. i tried to rollback to V1.2 when i noticed a green line on my screen - not a deal to me anymore. but, after doing the V1.2 flash, i had the exact same issue - this is driver related and UMIDIGI needs to fix this. anywho - get the V1.5 ROM, SP Flash tool, and do the flash but for the love of god DO NOT FORMAT!! if you do that, i'm not going to be able to help you.. just let me know, PM me if you need.

In sleep mode,  come notification from many applications so long. Even from a standard mail application gmail with a long delay.
SMS and notifications from messengers come perfectly, but from email and electronic wallet applications with a long delay. The delay can last from a few minutes to a day !!!
As soon as the screen is unlocked (the phone leaves sleep mode), notifications received immediately appear and all at once)))
This is a very big problem and requires a quick fix. The main point in the phone is to receive and send notifications, but this does not work for you !!!
On the European version of the firmware, the same problem with notification delay.
I installed the update in three ways and did a factory reset, the result is always the same, notifications work with great delays!

And finally make the notifications on the lock screen. Notifications should appear on the locked screen and not just make a sound!

Currently no notifications are working normally on my A5 pro.  Even phone calls do not ring.  Is this a known issue or just with my device?

anyone have working root?? lost it after the 1.4 flash - then for whatever reason, flashtool couldn't push the modified boot.img. says that something doesn't match... didn't get a response back from Umi either on the issue. i know it's not even relevant to have root anymore, but the ability to root is just nice to have later.

Hey, Umidigi - have the A5Pro already reached END OF LIFE & no further update and/or support for Android security updates ???

What the hell, Android security update still on June 2019.  My xiaomi just updated to Nov. 2019 from last month's Oct. 2019 update.  A5 Pro's "recent" update is full of bugs and unresolved problems & issues with Apps, especially the Camera App.

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.

my guess is that you'll have to purchase a new A5 Pro (retarded) for when they add Android 10 to that device; JUST LIKE THE A3 DEVICES AND ANDROID PIE... every so frustrating.. is the A5 capable of Android 10? absolutely. the chipset is more than enough to handle the 10 system, and on top of that - isn't 10 supposed to be more stripped down than before? well, that would mean less ram and CPU, right? we'll see; we'll see. i'm almost ready to give up on the A5 and get the F2 - not a fan of the hole punch shit though. but, as usual, there's no way to have this device in my hands BEFORE spending the dough on one first. more interested in the X though - just want to make sure it has wireless charging before making a decision..
