This is a joke. The release should have been stopped until the problem is worked out. Phone owners don't expect nor want to go around circles updating their phones.

OTA update UMIDIGI_F1_V1.0_20190724_20190904-1638 fails on my Umidigi F1 phone. The current version  ...

I just turned off notifications for Wireless Update and no more nagging. I'm not going to do anymore updates, maybe never as my phone is OK just as it is. Why do I want to chance bricking my phone for a Portuguese and some other irrelevant update? Not doing it.

Actually the issue happened on the FOTA server which is owned and managed by Adups, not by UMIDIGI ...

Are you sure we can skip this one and depend on the next to bring our phones up to date?

Because the current OTA update is only 76MB, which suggests to me that the updates are incremental only i.e. require all previous.

Maybe we could take it in turns, a different person volunteers for each day of the week to see if this update finally works and reports back.  By "works" I mean allows the update to proceed and reports if it gets past the stuck "Rebooting" prompt.

This phone seriously needs better ram management.  If I switch between two apps, the second one will reboot, even with only two apps open.  This is really frustrating when trying to copy and paste for example account number in a banking app.  It will restart and I have lost all my info on the screens I have filled out and back at step one.   Need a fix.

Any replies here? Still wondering if i should manually flash my phone or not and this is a key fact.

On customer support the only reply i 've gotten is to manually flash it.

But just as the update have stopped to show up on my umidigi F1, telling my pone is up-to-date, i'm wondering if I will still be able to get updates even if I don't flash my phone on this one.

Yep, even with run in background enabled.

DuraSpeed On
DuraSpeed (app) On.
Battery optimisation for app Disabled.
Memory check shows lots of free ram.

Move from app to browser then back, app is restarting.

I was booking plane tickets the other day what a drama.

DuraSpeed On

This is the biggest problem of the phone everything works except this, when you switch an app and come back to the app it reloads and you cant copy paste what is the point of using this feature if it reloads every time, please umidigi fix this is one of the most important things to have a phone able to do multi tasking.

Any chance of getting an OTA with current security patches and HDMI/MHL support?
