You haven't used it much then (this is like the people who say there's no memory bug!)

I've had my phone die on me today after 4.5 hours screen on time. It's never run out of battery before this update, 8,10 hours screen on time no problem.

This issue is they've broken something with mobile networks..

Phone has 16%
Mobile Network Standby  59%
Screen (4hrs 19mins) 11%

a bit later..

Phone has 7%
Mobile Network Standby 68%
Screen (4hrs 45 mins) 11%

Mobile Network Standby should never ever ever appear on the 'battery usage' page, it should be minimal few %. The screen is always the top drain of battery, normally followed by Google Play Services..

So, 100% it's a bug that all of us will see (unless perhaps your use case is unusual, eg 100% wifi and you never use normal 4G/GSM).

The good:
- NFC is fixed and finally working again as expected.

The bad:
- WiFi reception is worse. Keeps losing connection to my WiFi and reestablishing it

The ugly:
- Battery life is a desaster. Before, the battery would easily take me through two days of normal usage (even three with low usage). Now it's dead after merely one day and a half. The Google app alone ate up 45% in the background. I have now set all apps that allowed it to be optimised for battery usage. Let's see if that changes anything.
- The camera is still sludging the details. The photos at 48 MP do not remotely live up to the expectations. All details are slurred together to one single mush of colour. Contours are somehow distorted. Look at this photo of my cat, especially the boundaries between foreground and background. Awful! https://photos.app.goo.gl/e8QqbBxoEo5Nj69F9 (yes, I know this picture only has 16MP, that's because Google scales it down on upload, but the original on my phone does not look any better).

COMPARISON: Look at this photo from June 20th, so before the infamous July update. It was taken with 8.3 MP only and it shows so much more detail: https://photos.app.goo.gl/rnew5HqSywG4DGHy5 From a 48 MP photo I would expect 5 times as many details.

The good:

I wish I could say the same for the NFC on my phone. It no longer functions. Since this update I cannot access the engineer mode screen either. I don't know what changed. I am going to rollback to the previous update to see if that makes a difference in accessing the screen.

Good afternoon, dear users of this device. I am very disappointed in our cell. Already getting the third update, every time hoping for a miracle. But he is not.

Dear developers. If you read my post ... I ask for help! You finally fix the camera. Very terribly photographs. Photos are blurry.

And so, in general, the device is not bad for its money.

@bencebacsi Do you have any idea how the Google app is able to use up 17% of battery with 8 minutes of actual usage, as opposed to the Facebook app using up 11% with 1 hour and 45 minutes of screen on time?

This does not make any sense to me! What could it be doing that consumes so much battery power within only 8 minutes?

Screenshot of my battery statistics. German, but you'll get the idea.

red text

Hi guys, this is my first post so I apologize if potentially I am not following some rules.
I have a very strange problem. I downloaded new ROM and flashed it via flashTool. I used Format all + Download, and after it was successfully flashed I got as expected new ROM but the text in red in the upper right corner as shown on the attached picture is persistently on. Whatever application is openned and/or menu, the text stays there.

I tried to find on Google about this strange problem but I couldnt find anything similar.

Do you maybe have any idea about it? I tried to downgrade also via flash tool to other ROMs mentioned on this website but I have the same problem. The problem occurred first when I flashed this ROM.

Any idea is more than welcome since I am more or less without ideas what to try.

Thanks
