Fixed the "Can't receive call/SMS" problem (partially)!

1. Settings > Apps > Contacts app > Click on both the clear data & clear cache buttons
2. Go back and force shut down the Contacts app
3. Start Contacts app and on the top left in the menu select "Settings"
4. Then the app Contacts app crashes.
5. Somehow with the Power button and Overview button try to close the Contacts app (It's not easy, just be patient and try to close it)
6. After you closed the Contacts app, then maybe you should repeate this 2-3 times, but after that everything should be fine and the receive of calls/SMS should work!

This is only a partial fix, because after a restart, you should do this again. But now we know, that the source of problem is the Contacts app.

Maybe we should remove the Contacts app or somehow block it and use another app for that to prevent this happen again.

Dear Umidigists, I find that when the screen is on - browsing the web, youtube, or whatever - the display is terribly consuming the battery. I'm not talking about playing the game, 2-3 hours and the battery is flat. I have Brightness Adjustment set, but it doesn't help much.

I just noticed that the image of the screen did not touch the edge down! there is a black band!

PROBLEM OF CALLS ENTERING AFTER RESTART

the phone does not ring after a restart or a complete stop!

this problem only occurs when the screen lock has been activated ! so just go to the settings to remove the screen lock and restart the telophone! The phone will ring again if there is an incoming call !

you can lock the display again but remember that at the next start if you leave the screen lock the problem will start again and you will have to repeat the operation again

in summary when the phone redémre if you activated the screen lock the one will ask you your code to be unlocked or your print but it does not matter! the phone is unlocked but incoming calls are locked! The bug only occurs when you start the telphone and the screen lock is active

it is therefore necessary to start without screen lock or to think of deactivating the screen lock before turning off or restarting the telephone

- phone start with screen lock option enabled = incoming call problem

mi 5 pro quedó con pantalla negro. no enciende. los técnicos donde viven dicen que no conocen la marca y no pueden rootearlo. necesito ayuda. es nuevo. lo compré en aliexpress. no se golpeó. sencillamente dejó de encender.

you hold down the power button for 10 seconds to force off! then you try to light it up again normally! otherwise it's dead!
