UMIDIGI A5 Pro V1.4_20190827 ROM - SPFT + OTA release

Hello, I have a problem with an specific APP and this phone.

I just got my A5 pro last week delivered to Mexico, updated to this latest rom right away, and then proceed to install my regular apps (I'm coming from using a Mi A1 phone). All fine except for the spotify app.

Whenever I click on the 3 dots next to a song or playlist, spotify crashes. always all the time. This renders usage of the phone for music useless for me.

Here is a thread on the spotify community where SEVERAL UMIDIGI users are having the exact same problem.

I tried to flash the stock ROM of umidigi A5 pro but during flashing, I'm halted by an error message status da hash mismatch. Please what can I do

HELLO pls after i flashed my rom from 1.4 to 1.2 global my device is black with a green line in the middle i cant see anything but it presses i hear the keyboard but cant see anything what can i do plsssssssssss

Tested this version for about 2 weeks....
Pros:
*Rear and front camera improved.
*Mac address fixed and ok for corporate wifi

Cons:
*Apps closing suddenly after startup and even during normal use,  often the phone auto reboot.
*System crashes stops if I flash back my ROM to v1.3.
*Micro sd card inserted Samsung 32GB BUT detected 64GB with 50% memory full.

I hope in another update so that I'll not forced to downgrade to v1.3 for stability.

I have a problem with my A5 Pro, the phone is restarting everytime when is not been use and is very anoying.
The version of the sorftware is V1.4_20190827. Some else with this problem?

did you update from any previous versions?

if so - you may need to boot into the recovery and wipe the cache partition.

if that doesn't work - i'd suggest backing up all your stuff to your SD card and flash the phone with the flash tool to 1.4...827. i got tired of crap not working right with my A5_Pro, saved all my info, and flashed the phone using the flash tool to the newest software. haven't really noticed any 'improvements' or 'bug fixes' though.. i think that was just a sham to push out a new security update.. that's now out of date lol....... ohhhh Umidigi.. anyway - this phone is just full of bugs, hardware and software. i'm hoping that they'll get this straight by the time AndroidQ is available - i'd like to see this phone be able to accept that update; but of course it'll probably be for the devices SHIPPED with AndroidQ like they did the Pie updates with the A3 and A3_Pro. (had both devices as well). anyway - earpiece volume while on a call is still very dismal at full volume, and the camera still F*****G flashes green with Duo - regardless lol my snapchat and T-Mobile video calling services don't even do that.. hmm.. plus all these spam accounts getting on here making things more difficult for Umi to see what issues people are having.. not crypto currency stuff.

my plans: save some dough and get the Umi-X device. that thing just looks sexy as all get out. and the in-screen fingerprint scanner MAN.. want that one.. but THIS time i'm not just gonna get the device.. i'm going to wait to see what issues the X has, then make my decision.. cheers!

Hi mate, how have you been? Now I'm back to Umidigi phone with the A5 Pro.

Need some advice - My device (non EU) arrived with this latest version pre-installed. So far, I have no major issues with the device.

However, in the battery section, it always shows "battery usage data not available". Have already charged a few times but still nothing. Any solution or workaround?

Can you advice whether its ok to flash EU Firmware on a non-EU FW set?
