Yes, only I could not use an SD card it had to be internal storage.

I am having the exact same problem and cannot find the answer anywhere. App freezes and have to "force close" to clear the problem. Only started recently. I believe that it is a problem unique to the F1 . Any help would be appreciated ! Thanks

Agree, I should connect my charger every night! Before that, I charged my phone every two days.

I've just got the related update for my F1 Play (3rd September update, similar to this with the security patch update etc) and battery life has halved.

The task "Mobile Network Standby" is by far the top of the list (screen 4hrs 19 mins is 11%, but Mobile Network Standby is 59%!). That task should be near the bottom.

They still never fixed the camera, in fact they made it worse (still takes 15 seconds to switch from picture to start recording a video, and now pictures have large blurry blocks all over them!!)

The battery life bug has ruined the phone..

That's an ongoing problem with Google Carrier Services, not Umidigi.  Take a look at the comments on the Play store, there's endless complaints about this.

As a general comment on some of the other replies, some of the things people are complaining about are with third-party apps, not Umidigi.  If Custom Launcher X is causing problems then check the Play store, if there are hundreds of complaints from people with non-Umidigi phones then the problem isn't Umidigi, it's the app.

Not wanting to defend Umidigi too much, the ongoing non-working update thing is a complete fiasco, but they're not to blame for a lot of the things that people are complaining about. Check Google Play first to see if it's a problem with the app.
